Risk Assessment

50% of all runners will become injured within the next 12 months

Take our free risk assessment today and have your personalised report emailed to you so you can act now to reduce your risk of injury

Watch our short instructional video on how to complete the assessments. Entering your results in the below table.

How It Works

Through decades of training 100's elite and recreational athletes, we've designed an assessment which measures your injury risk level. We can provide you with your overall risk factor based upon the results of the assessment, and importantly, which areas have the greatest risk from injury.

Individual area risk assessment

The risk assessment pin points exactly where you are most likely to be vulnerable, helping you to take action before the inevitable occurs. The risk assessment is a series of four exercises to assess the known sites and causes of overuse injuries. The exercises can be completed anywhere with no equipment using what is available in most homes. The exercises assess two areas:
1. Flexibility
2. Local muscular endurance
Deficits in these two areas are known to be risk factors for running related overuse injuries, regardless of biomechanics, technique, type of trainer, or any other variable.

We're working on your report.

Thank you for entering your results!Once your data has been assessed, a personalised risk assessment report will be emailed to you. You can expect to receive this usually within a couple of hours.Within the report, you will find your overall risk score as well as a breakdown on the areas most at risk. With this information, we are also able to offer you 12 weeks of personalised training that specifically improves your results.

Ready 2 Run Immerse

Ready 2 Run: Short Course.

Launching July 2024

We're thrilled to announce the launch of our Ready 2 Run digital short course. In collaboration with Strength and Conditioning Academy, we've developed the course to support those who support the endeavours of runners!

The unfortunate truth is that over half of all runners will become injured each year. 80% of these injuries are overuse, in that the body is not able to deal and sustain the repeated loading from running.

Our Ready to Run short course provides you with the practical know how and confidence to return runners from injury and reduce the likelihood of future injuries. The content is a perfect blend of evidence base and over 20+ years of experience of refining and simplifying what we know matters and works.

The course is specifically designed for running coaches, fitness coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, and physiotherapists.

Unlike many other education providers, we focus on an outcome and adaptation led approach. We start with the end in mind first! Working backwards from the outcome and using the universal principles of physiological adaptation, we provide you with the infrastructure to assess, programme, and track progress.

Assess what really matters and informs our practice

Individualised injury risk reporting

Personalised training programme

The course provides the fundamental basis to all Ready to Run content helping practitioners like you to better support runners. Using the evidence base and practical experiences we accumulated, we provide an approach to genuinely reduce the risk of overuse running injuries and return injured runners back to full fitness. The course will provide you with:

1. Fundamental grounding of the causes of overuse injuries
2. Common overuse injuries
3. Assessments to measure injury risk
4. Interpretation of assessment data
5. Fundamentals of personalising exercise prescription and programming

If you want to be the first to know about the release of the short course, including receiving early bird discounts, register your interest below!
